The local dealer around here was telling us about this...saying it was a crock that dealerships were doing that. This local one says they won't sell one for over 80k to be legit to the customers, and because of that they have sold the most in the country.

They said 1 guy alone has bought 3. 1 for his Florida home, 1 for his wife to use in Florida and 1 for his Columbus home...rich b-tard...

We have three at our dealership, two black and one white. We sold our first one (pewter) to a guy in south Florida who flew up and drove it home, and sold our red one to a guy from Colorado who flew in and drove his home as well.

I can see why places are charging more...people really like these...

But, I mentioned the most in the country...I believe they told me they sold 7 in the last X months...would that make sense at all? Or might they just have sold the most in the state? Or just lied all together, haha

Dude I can get one for MSRP and the dealer would pay tax and license, but the maintenace is so rediculous. My friend is a sales and finance manager at my nissan dealer.

Yeah dude. I have a friend at the same dealer that's a service manager and when I was about to get the car I said to myself, "let me see what the maintenace is going to be like", I ask him about it and this is exactly what he said. " Oil change every 3k Miles $300, transmission service every 10k Miles $5,000, New tires every 10K miles(which you have to get through the dealer) $5,000, You have to service the transmission after 3 R mode takeoffs and if you do a 4th one it will VOID your warranty. Dude the car has a DAMN BLACKBOX linked to nissan Directly that notifies them. Just keep your A/C." I then asked if the oil change is something I could do myself since I do mostly all the maintenace to my car's. He said "dude if you touch the engine of the car at all it will VOID the warranty". Nissan really F'ed up by putting all these restrictions toward the car. The whole point of the car is to buy it and drive the HELL outta it, but it seems like you can't even do that. Why pay so much money for a car that you can't even drive the way you would like too. In that case I would have rather bought the C63 AMG I was thinking about. Now I rather just keep the A/C since it's all paid for and not worry about another car. Sorry if my reply is WAY TO LONG!!

If I ever manage to get one, screw the maintenance, I'll drive it like I stole it till it slowly starts to fall in pieces.

then I'll sell it for MAXIMUM PROFIT on ebay

LOL, thanks for the input guys and gals, I have a friend that just bought a "Snake Green" SRT-10 Viper friggin awesome car) and he's looking at picking this up to. so I will tell him to tell WH Nissan 80K or they can get bent. 9020 said that the yearly Maintenance cost is 625 bucks...BTW they treated me fair but I still smell fish and snake oil when I go there.

You have three. Two black and one white. And then, you have your red... Isn't that four?

BTW cars in the States are cheap... Compared to other countries. I should've gotten one ~_~ Just didn't want to be a total leech

You're right dude. And when you have to change your front brakes for example because those are the ones that wear out faster you still have to change the rear ones even though they don't need to be changed. Same as tires you have to change them ALL. It's really stupid to have to change tires evey 10K miles.

90k is nuts. Two of the more reliable dealerships in my area have sold a few GT-Rs, and from what I was told, they're going for around sticker price. Someone at one of the dealerships told me that he sold one to one of his customers near sticker and then the customer proceeded to sink another 30-40k into the car

According to your mentality, we should have five. But, as I said, we SOLD our pewter one and red one. We CURRENTLY have three.

Titanium is the "official" color, doesn't look like they offer it in 2010.

It is a grey-ish...like our Slate but a little lighter. In between our Dark Slate and Precision Grey I would say.

And yea...I loved the count of 4 cars. I thought...No...he said 3, they sold 2...either 3 or 5...never come up with 4.

It's kinda funny... the dealers who sell them @ sticker or thereabouts can't keep them on the lot, so Nissan favors them and keeps a good flow without making them wait; and pick of the litter, no less.

The ones with the asinine markup? They rarely move them, so Nissan doesn't send them as many... which makes them mark them up more to try to artificially inflate their demand.

I mean... car salesmen have a bad enough rep as it is, but it's like they are in denial of the information age and that you can ship a car back and forth across the entire country 10-15 times and still be saving money from their bulls***!
