what's going on with the dash? i think i would have atleast took that crap off when i tried to sell it.... i can't imagine that that would be a selling point.

well it's a 240. But it's an automatic. But it's got a sunroof But it's got 112k miles. Well it's got toys glued to the dash ... SOLD.

I beat you all. I saw a GT-R mustange recently, I think I still know where it is. I'll try to take a picture. And who convinced that guy that it's ok to put rediculous side skirts on yet leave the front stock?

You know, with the miles on that car, I wonder if it'd be worth it to buy it, part out the ridiculous body pieces the previous owner threw on, sell the audio equipment, and go from there. You'd be the owner of ESSENTIALLY a $1500-1650 S13 fastback with relatively low miles.

I saw a 2nd gen Eclipse GS Convertible with a GT-R badge yesterday.

Did you know that there's a real GTR Mustang? I'm not kidding.

Little off topic, but I thought that only 89-90 had the pignose. I'm wondering because I have a '91 (DOHC of course) and it has the pignose on it. I thought that the previous owner replaced it because he had a front end collosion, but could the pignose have come OE on my car?

Kid that goes to my school has a GT-R badge on the rear of his Corolla. Someone told me he calls it his GTRolla.

*sigh* when will it end?

aesic, welcome to NICO.

In all likelihood, the car's previous owner put the pignose fascia on it. You could consider yourself blessed or cursed, depending on your point of view, but to answer your question, no, the pignose did not come on any 91+ year car.

It never will. Just today, I saw a Ford Ranger with a Civic SiR sticker above the Ford emblem on the tailgate.

Well.....sort of. It wasn't built by any aftermarket tuner though, it's a factory Ford car. Ford sells the parts to build up a Mustang GT-R.

I'd still prefer a Skyline, thank you very much, but nonetheless, this thing is no BS.

I may have you all beat, here in Montana at Checker I saw a GT-R Buick Lasabre. It was beautiful. We also have a kid with a 1999 Talon with the stock wing and a carbon GT wing on top of it with a front mount but its not turbocharged, it just has a filter on one end. Its hilarious, he says he gain 50hp from the nice cool air, ha ha, but he also has a Tornado which he refers to as his turbo because it makes a whitling noise.

Thats right, thanks for the pics. Now i remember. I saw it in an article about diff versions of the 05 mustang, like the saleen, mach 1, gtr, some others. I think it was a road and track. They did performance tests on them all. Funny thing was that the stock gt actually had near identical performance, and weighed less than the gtr. I think it was actually quicker 0-60. the gtr cost something like 120k. It is stripped down, larger motor, the works. And see that cooler in the back between the lights? Thats only for looks. FAKE. Good job ford

although i should add, im not sure it was a full production spec or what, seems like it shouldnt have been such a poor performer. Maybe somebody else read the article?
