HI guys,

I thought its time to post several shots of one of our project cars.Turbo is GT5533R ball bearing. For a reference, its flows 68% more than a 102mm GT42R. 155lbs - that is about 1500whp if the engine flows it ( it will)Engine is FULLY built with the best there is for Skyline RB26DETT.

And a quick comparison of GT5533R, GT4202R, T67, T61, and Subaru WRX stock.

And a final sneak preview:

Supras hit full boost on that turbo at 6500-6800.

The RR26 flows more, has better head, bigger cams, and shorter stroke. So owerbad should be 6500-12000. But if that thing hits 25psi at 6500, that would be over 600whp at 7000rpms and about 900-1000whp (estimated) by redline. 35psi should be about 1200whp and 1500whp by 50spi. That is OFF Nitrous. The car will be mapped with the Motec for a progressive nitrous 50-200 shot.

RB engines even with 2.6liter vs Supra 3.0 liter have proven to make more power because of better combustion chamber design, port design, port size, and cam profiles. The HKS 280 cams for the 2JZ have 9.3mm lift. This engine has Tomei cams with 290 duration and 11.5 lift

We are not concerned with the engine holding but with traction...

goal is 1500whp off juice, 1700whp with juice on the dyno. on the street I do not think that car need more than 1000whp , it weighs only 2700lbs

The car has been running the RB for the last 2 years. Stock twins, the GT42R.

Driveline - Carbonetic triple disk clutch, carbon 2way LSD, MAzworx axles, steel driveshaft, Motec traction control with 4 wheel speed sensors ( hall effect)... 19x12 rear wheels on the street, CCW 18x12 for racing...

really, so what exactly is that?.... and what are you gonna do about the oil situation. i see a new oil pump but that will be hardly sufficient for the numbers you are claiming. and your gonna need that nitrous to spool that thing or it will never make 25 psi by 7000 unless you raised the compression signifigantly. another question, how do you come up with 1500whp from this compressor map? even garret says this turbo is only good for1550 crank hp, so that is barely 1300 whp if your lucky. you said you have been driving this car with this motor around with a gt42r on it? wheres the dyno chart on that? i think we'd all like to see that too....

Maybe by 2.5 bar, maybe. He can spool it up, Need a studer box, Anti lag system, or two step, launch controller something. Or he can foor it opening the throttle al the way until the rev limit that will spool it up, some than launch. I think with 1500hp he will have some traction issuses. Maybe he should back-half the car.

insaine!!!

i hope you are considering running a dry sump setup cause im not sure how any replacement rb26 oil pump (tomei, hks, ect) will hold at those hp/rpm levels

Nope, they won't. And nobody (JUN, HKS, Tomei, Ferrea, or other) make valve springs rated for 12K RPM that you can buy that aren't G-14 classified. But I wasn't going to say anything about that...

exactly what i was saying. any kind of stock style pump upgrade will be insufficient. dry sump is the only option.....

It's an RB, it will make a 1000hp for a week then fail.
