no this is the august issue of SCC i just got it in the mail. It has the new STI on the front and the cover story is a track and dyno test on the new STI and 3 wrx tuners that take it on.

Our RB25 kit will work with the RB26DETT if you use the RB25 alum block adapters. Our RB26DETT kit will be available in July..

Now the car was sick, no joke, but I knew this was coming from reading the boards and honestly I have to say that I was a little dissapointed in the artical. Am I the only one out there that was expecting to see some shots of the install with all the talk the guy from SCC has been doing on this board I was really hoping for a lot more. But maybe that is just me.

Thanks for that I was just confussed. I guess I just could not wait. Unfortunatly for me I need to have my swap done before the middle of August when I need to go back to school.

Yes very very incredible car, picked up the mag cause of the WRXs, the 240 was a surprise bonus :D

BTW, Mckinney guys, it said you did a RB26DETT swap, got any pics?!? I would LOVE to see that!!! Would that be the first rb26dett swap in a 240 in the USA?!?

The good - It's cool to see someone around here get some cred. for what they've done.

The bad - If it's anything like what happend with the s13 project car... all the rb25det clips will be going up in price pretty soon. * sigh *

Not to bring negativity to the thread but people tend to do what's in that mag religiously... I live in a town of only 70,000 and I've seen three cars that were painted flat black after the article on the s13 went to print.

** can see the sticker companies reving up to make hundreds of "skyline power" decals right now **

Cangrats though and I'll defineatly be buying that mag and the one with the install! :)
