Don't cry fanboys... It's a perfctly logical decision. Nissan didn't want to have too much in house competition during these hard times. That's what nearly bankrupted thm in the '90's bfore Ghosn took over.

As long as the Z/G coupe is around, there is no need for a new Silvia, IMO. They compete for the same buyers.
