Was a nice day here yesterday after work, 65 and somewhat sunny so I figure Id open the roof and enjoy the sun for the ride home.

I get home and start to close the roof..*whine* *grunt* *click*...1/4 " of movement more *grunt* *whine* with no more movement.

I finally get it closed by pushing it as I'm holding down the close button, and then it's not lined up correctly after I get it closed...I'm like great it's supposed to rain tonight and I cant get this thing to close. I finally got it leveled and closed...after I pulled out the pry bar and snapped a part.

I can no longer can make it retract but still have the vent up and down. Now I'm waiting for it to rain to see if I get a soggy seat, or if I got it sealed enough. I guess 15 years and this is the first roof problem...i cant complain too much. But it was a pita at the end of my day.

Thought I'd just share that story...no customers have called this morning and I'm stuck at work trying to entertain myself. lol

Yea, I think I'll be feeling the pain soon too. I'm counting down till my goes out. I've had to help it along with one hand the past couple of times I've opened and closed it. I think it's on its last legs.
