My friend at Outcast Garage in California and I talked. He said he'll make anything I want if I get a group buy of 15+. I know a lot of us here want new things for our cars. It can be carbon fiber, fiberglass, polyurethane, etc. Anything and everything can be made. I would LOVE to have a splitter kit made for our cars. Let's see who's interested.

For any details on what can be made or how the products will look like, visit their site: www.outcastgarage.com

Hey man, don't wanna rain on your parade (as I may want to get in on some of this if he can include the newer M's), but he needs to contact the powers that be and get approved as a vendor. We sometimes let it slide if it's a one-off production by some guy in his house garage...but he has a full blown business, website, etc.

Can you (or he), please contact one of our main admins Kompresshun? Thanks!

^^LMAO^^
Do me a favor, find out how much the following will cost to make for a 2008 m35x without the group buy because I have the same sentiments as my friend above. Also what are his guarantees on fitment as I have never bought something like this before and have heard people have to do other modifications to get them to fit...and some don't get them to fit seamlessly. I'm not willing to go through that. Pm me if you can't post the price.

There's several ways to contact the powers that be.
1) Send an email to [email protected]
2) Contact an Administrator
3) Read the rules in the Advertisers Marketplace

He has a point :rotflmao. The only one I've seen actually happen, is the under tray. Although that wasn't really a group buy.

I think that color is staggering! It should be called: "arrest-me-Rogue" or "citation-candy-red" because whomever drives it will certainly have traffic citations from the PoPo. How can you NOT exceed the limit in that color?

lol. The Y51 rear end is fugly (only thing I don't like about my new car). Y51 front + Y50 rear = pure sex.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. OP, please contact the admins about your ideas of a group buy (free or not) and I'm sure they'll help you out.

Thanks!

Yeah, I actually sourced it at $1746 shipped....$972 IN SHIPPING and I refuse to pay that. Maybe that's reasonable, but I can't bring myself to pay that for something like this. Hopefully this guy can make it for the same price or cheaper. What material is best?

I didn't intend to make it sound like it's an advertisement or something. I'm trying to see if there is really interest in group buys for one-off products. Once we figure out who's interested, who's committed, and what parts we want, I'll definitely contact admins or have him contact them. As for now, let's see the interest

This bumper is ridiculously beautiful! Buying it without a group buy would be far too expensive. For him to make this for just you would be costing you as much as buying the bumper directly from japan. I would seriously be interested in having something like this for our car

Find a freight broker. That is probably for shipping it air via Fedex or DHL or something. I had a bunch of body kits imported from asia once... three large rear bumpers individually boxed. I think I spent maybe $400?

Yeah $972 in shipping must be UPS air. I would rent a container if you can wait, but don't forget to factor in taxes, import fees, recycling fees etc.

I'd like to see this happen but I share the skepticism about getting people to commit. M37/56 needs a front splitter bad.

I just email the site On making a auto couture style front bumper if you ask me that is the only bumper that looks clean for the Y50 if your gonna keep stock side and rear kit. I just think $1700 plus over seas shipping and its fiberglass is just over kill! And at this point it's not even the price anymore the OC front bumper is way to hard to find!

I don't like that. That looks like someone was trying really hard to make a cool product like the one they saw but just couldn't pull it off lol. I did find this other one, but don't know who makes it. It's a little more subtle, but pulls off the look I want.
