Finally I found my camera software!!

So here are the pics from my GroundZero manifold-T3/T04E install.

New stuff:

Last minutes with old setup:

Removal of old setup:

Turbos side by side(T04E 50trim vs T04B T5/T6 trim)

Group shot.lol

GroundZero manifold installed:

New turbo installed:

Clearance:

All said and done:

How I ended up making the downpipe:(say nothing about the welds... i had to fab that using a 225AC stick welder, table saw, and a sawzall which was useless.lol Its 304l stainless.)

For clearance, I ended up smacking that hardline a couple of times with a hammer(carefully) and then putting a spacer behind the left bolt of the master cylinder. I ended up having prolly .25" clearance, maybe a lil more, but I fit some heat shield in there.

Nice setup. How does your new mani and turbo compare to your old one, as far as performance goes.

the revhard forces you to use an on-center turbo. and being a cast short runner design the two match up make a not as efficent setup

the new setup cory has flows a ton better making more power at lower boost

it means that the turbine housing is directly under the turbine as opposed to more on the side.

both a on center manifold and turbo makes it fit really well on a 240. however as structure said its less efficient. but you can just curve the DP to make it work

not the best pic to show, but thats the back of my on-center pt61

this is a tangential turbo, much more common. tangential as the turbine inlet comes off at a tangent

Downpipe is 3".

This setup flows a ton better on the top end. Trap speeds show that. I'm going again this wednesday to see how much I pick up from 1/8mile to 1/4mile. Prolly do a lil tuning too. Maybe break 110mph as is!

Like I said on ka-t.org, a 5bolt turbine discharge prolly woudl have had way better clearnace, but I was told the 4bolt is more efficient and I still can't see why the hell you would use 5bolt discharge with external wastegate.lol

I wanted to know what master cylinder and brake booster you were using? I was interested in this manifold, but I am using the 300zx master cylinder and brake booster and am worried about fitment issues. From the photo it looks like you are running the stock brake booster and I cannot tell which master cylinder. I hope you are running the 300zx cylinder and booster because that fitment already looks pretty tight. Thanks for your time.

I'm using stock everything brake wise(with the exception of ATE super blue brake fluid/Hawk HPS pads). It is pretty tight, but I haven't melted anything yet... Even after very very hard running tuning my AVC-R.

How do you like the AVC-R (since we are all thread jacking), how hard is it to set duty?

I love it! Definatly not a good boost controller if you want something that is easy to set up tho. You will be adjusting settings for the rest of your life.lol

But if you want something that is infinitely adjustable, then this is for you. It has datalogging, so you can make adjustements based off of that. It has gear based duty adjutment, Feedback speed(so you can build boost quickly in low gears), scramble mode(wire in a switch and overboost using that), two separate boost settings+off where you use only spring setting, and on and on and on.. ITs awesome! Read up on it!
