Post

i bought a s13 recently:

it was in good running condition; but i just came home from church this morning; see if my car would crank[i had a new battery in the car; it worked fine for my first week having the car]-i noticed it couldnt be the spark plugs/wiring/or blown fuses.[i checked all the usual problems.]

i looked up and found that the ground wires could be "short"?

what does this mean?i was looking to replace my stock ground wires with these i found on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...95542

they look nice and their cheap.i was just wondering thought; i have no manual book that comes w/ the car. where in the heck is the groundwiring for the s13?

i need to know where one end connects to the other.also can i route it the same way my stock ground wires came from?

please help me out.

thanks =]

the wires are probably old.the ground is connected to the chassis and the block.basically where you can.

have you done the basic tune ups, fuilds changed, plugs...etc.?

Dumb question but do you have your battery terminals tight? Wiggle them, listen for clicking.

Do you get a bulb-check at KEY->ON?

Do you hear *anything* when KEY->START?

Auto or manual transmission?
