Do any of you know the location of the ground in an s13? What I really would like is some type of picture/diagram. My mechanic is trying to find them and just doesn't know where they are so I'm hoping you guys can provide me with something...i'm just sooooooo ready to have my car back. he's had it for like a month with no real updates. I'd seriously appreciate if you have a diagram and post it. thanks

why would you take your car to a mechanic who doesnt have access to that sort of information?

do u have bad grounds? why does he need to find it? just buy a cheap ground kit of ebay if ur having grounding issues. saves alot of time for searching for stick grounds

a grounding kit will work for grounding the motor to the chassis, but what about every ground from the rest of the harness, the ecu, etc? last i checked ground locations were in the FSM, alldata for nissans is a copy of the fsm. i wouldnt trust any car to get worked on at a shop without access to at least a chiltons or something. especially electrical and major engine, but i guess im stupid, being ASE certified in electronics and finishing #1 in both my automotive electronics classes

yea, arent there really only two MAJOR grounds? at least that cause enough problems if they go bad?

i know there are more than two, but their are TWO very obvious ones. these are grounds for the injectors, and if they arent grounded your car will run funny as hell.

the first one is at the front of the motor on the passenger side, adn the other one is at the rear of the motor on the drivers side. this one even has a ground strap and connects directly to the firewall.

there is no way your mechanic isnt finding at least these too, he's taking your checkbook for a ride.
