Very interesting looking. Use those two wires to ground to the chassis, one to each side.

i am going with "groundinggear" on the other forum 20 plus pages every single person who bought has said good things and even have indepenent dynos all over the place... should be on its way soon. if we believe in 10k cables for the 2 channel in the living room, i think a couple of hundred for a proper proven product is well worth it.

do a search

this has been discussed at length

they will increase throttle response, improve shifting...especially in AUTO

made a big difference for me

but, go with the GroundingGear

BRAND-AID...that looks kinda weird to me.

you have a wired grounded weird on the right side of the plenum.

from your distributor you should have a wire that goes to the chassis ground on the left side and one to the right side chassis ground..

from the ground back of the plenum you should have a wire that goes south to the transmission casing and grounds there (at least if you had groundinggear wires).

Looks like you have the NRG, and i have no idea what wires they include.

Either way, you should have those wires all grounded to the chassis.

The idea here is to improve electrical connections since everything is run by computer and so you dont lose peformance when you shouldn't.

This picture is from Chad1200. I didnt want to go out to my car and take a picture so i stole this. Either way, mine is the same with the difference being that I have my ECU/TCU grounded also (which i grounded per instruction to the spot in the picture with 1,2,3 wires).

The wires have been designated NUMBERS only so that you can see the corresponding connections. These numbers could differ from the instructions on the GroundingGear set as I dont have mine anymore.

Hope this helps!!

Thanks man, very useful stuff, I think I have most of them right, but my kit only had 8 wires I think, I have some leftover power wire from my amp in my last car, I might use that to reach the ECU/transmission, if I have enough...

Has anyone used a wheatstone bridge to check the grounds prior to spending the money for a grounding kit?

The crudest of tools can make the most wonderful masterpieces in the hands of a master. This is something I once heard...

I've applied that theory to my life... and this actually 60 some odd dollar ebay kit works well...

If i were you, If you have some 4g wire, I'd hook the TCU and ECU together, then connect them to the battery. I bet with that you'd only use about 6 ft of wire and then the connector pieces.

Will do!

I'll let you know if I notice any additional increases.... Oh, and by the way, I installed a nice shiny new heat shield for my F5 fujita intake

Thanks all for the input! I love tweaking my G...
