I was gonna suggest contacting Daniel for this 2.5... there's plenty of 3.5 A/C's closer to you than me... if you post this in the Altima Coupe forum, I think one of those guys in the OC/ LA area would jump on this in a minute!

Ok, so I have 3 installs this weekend and then we should have kits available by next week.

There are 4 color choices:

Matte Gray (Gunmetal)Matte Blue

These are obviously not shiny, but ARE translucent. They are the highest quality wires I've dealt with. Super flexible, very high strand count, and thicker than other 4 gauge wires (The wire industry doesn't adhere to standards like they should).

I can also pass on a decent discount with these wires, because I get them at a good price.

Translucent Black (Charcoal)Translucent Red

These are shiny. They are great for show purposes, but the strand count is lower and they are a little less flexible than the matte wires. They are also a little thinner in wire diameter.

For somer reason, these wires cost me more. The difference in final kit price is around 15-20%.

So let me know what colors you will want. I will definately have the gun metal on hand.

Here are some pictures:

new point, supporting sentientbydesign....

as sentient has alluded to in his previous posts.. many times, folks don't ground the correct points in their grounding kits... if there are 5 points in the engine bay that really benefit from the decreased resistance obtained through grounding kits, then those points are the ones that need to be grounded... extra wires are just fluff..

I say this because Thursday, while at a local car meet, I saw a G35 with an 8 gauge grounding kit installed ... problem was, upon closer examination, he missed ALL the important grounding points! Instead of attaching his grounding kits on top of the existing factory grounds, he installed it on points near the factory grounds.. THIS DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF A GROUNDING KIT!! And this was on a supercharged car!

My point is, Sentient is doing real R&D to find the correct points that need to be grounded, and is creating his kit on top of those places... this is the right way... the way the above car did his is probably why some folks don't see ANY benefits from their kits... they installed their kits completely WRONG!!!

Just a thought...

Thanks Doc,

Most of the 3.5L is done. The guys (Nismofool and Jose3.5) came out yesterday and we spent the whole day working on the prototypes. I need to do a little more research on where and how the CVT is controlled and then kits should be available.

They will cost LESS than the G35 kits as the Altima design has grounding points that are closer to each other and have less of them than the G or Z does.

Hopefully Kenny and Jose will jump in in a day or two to give us some feedback on what they noticed.

Not yet. I'd be happy to work on one if you can get me a demo car lol. I don't get over to the Max/I30 forums much anymore. If you know of an 07 Max in SoCal that's interested in testing, I'd be happy to build a kit for it.

I will be revising my Fab Marketplace thread to include all of the models available. Currently:

03-07 G35 coupe and sedan (non-VQ35HR motors)2005 2.5L Altima 07-08 3.5L Altima Sedan (Final Development)08 3.5L Altima Coupe (Final Development)FX35 (In Progress)Maxima 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5.5 gen (Awaiting Demo Vehicles)
