Okay, I searched and I didnt find a straightforward answer. I'm almost positive it exists on these forums, but where, I dont know.

I just want some straightforward pics of where the grounding is for an 89' s13. I'm having stupid electrical issues, and I just wanna get some better groundage.

For instance, my dash brake light is always on, unless I'm turning left, but once I correct right again it turns on. Also my door open light turns on whenever I go over a bump. And my brake lights just stopped working. Bulbs are fine, I think its my switch. Cause I got up under there, propped the brake pedal pushed in, and used my finger to push the switch in and out, and I occasionally got a flicker of light from the brakes, but they wouldnt work otherwise, plus my rear lights work, so yeah. I assume its the switch.

Anyways, back on topic, pics of groundage, please and thank you. Also, I read a thread about making your own grounds, and I definately plan on doing it. Where are some good places to ground from? THANK YOUU

Sounds like other problems if you ask me. Get a meter and look for power back there first. Read the FSM as well, the brake light switch is an easy circuit to trace out.

The FSM is linked in the Ultimate sticky

The fact that you say your dash brake light goes off when you're turning, makes me think that there is something wrong with your harness. Are you lowered quite a bit? You're wheel could be hitting your harness in the wheel well and correcting whatever short is keeping your brake light on. I don't know. Just a suggestion.

well im almost positive its the switch.. cause.. i am a tiny kid, and i used my head to push the brake pedal all the way in, and then i reached up there and pushed the little button on the switch in and out, and it didnt work as it should have, so what else would it be?

I had an issue where my headlights would dim hard core at night when I put it in neutral. Thought the alternator was on it's way out at first but then I tried running a ground from my intake manifold to my strut tower. It helped A LOT.
