I think I remember reading in a magazine about the thickness of the wire being better at conducting or something.

thicker the better, a good premade wire to use are the red lawn mower battery grounds they sell in discount auto parts, they come in 12 18 24 inch lengths, 3-7 bucks depending on length, make sure you ground the block to the frame

Anything on the frame.

W/ wire the ting to remeber is you can also go bigger but you cant go smaller. The longer the wire is the more resistance it has.

Resistace to elecrtical flow.

Check to find out what gauge your wire is factory. A diagram should tell you. Dnt go smaller.

Think of water in a hose. There is more water pressure in a 8ft hose than 3ft hose if its the same diameter if the same amount of force is being applied behind it..

Same scenario, if the 8ft hose was widened, in theory, the same amount of pressure can be the same as that of the 3ft hose.

EDIT:Fixed Scenarios..Amps=pressure Volts=Force push Amps(pressur)
