Get it if you have an AUTO. It will improve your transmission's shifting.

I think Chad and Beancooker get that. If I remember right both rdered it from Canada.

They'll chime in and give you the full details. I think beancooker put it in the sticky.

definitely helps with shifting in the AT. it's a 4 gauge wire kit. the bigger, the better.

All we do is building igloos and making ground wire kits for G's in igloos.

I forgot we have internet only dial up in the igloos and lots of free time. Since you got free time you can check out the Nico and the rest of the time we keep the population growing.

Chad, do I have to send them payment or how does this transaction work? It'd be nice to just order it online...

I coulds not find the exact model so I posted the closest one.

Just kidding.

But seriously he bought one and he's got the kit from Canada. I assume from the same place he paid by credit card. I'll ask him tomorrow about it.

Yup, 5AT... I'm excited for the install. I actually just wired him money via paypal. Said he'd have to wait for confirmation of payment + 24 hours to ship.

Gonna drop in a Optima yellow top battery this week as well, with the DVD player/upgraded stereo, i think I put to much strain on the battery/alternator. I like to play it loud!!

Cool! It's not just a drop in though...the terminals are in different locations compared to OEM. My advice is to redo the ground connector with at least 4 g wire. You will have to modify the positive terminal....see my pic.

Ohh...make sure you get the cover with the battery...it is also an adapter that it will sit on to make it about 1.5" taller!

what is the batter number on that one?

i called autozone and they said that the G35 requires a #35.

the 34/78 yellow tops are the same size with just different termimal sides so you dont have to rewire...

LOVE THE GROUNDING KIT

http://www.groundinggear.com

Everyone with an AUTO needs to get this!

Much better response time and car feels much quicker. This should be the first mod anybody does with a 5AT. I'm not sure about 2007+ but 03-06 should have pretty similar improvements.

I purchased one of these kits (with 2 added wires for the ECU and AT) at around $70 shipped. Very nice quality and came with nicely detailed instructions
