Anyone with a grounding kit, can you fill me in on if you can even tell a difference, and i also heard that you could use amp wire. not sure of what gauge but i would do my research prior to using that. Any info would be useful. :bigthumb:

Build your own. The only benefit of buying pre-made is that you dont have to measure cable lengths.

I had one in my AC and I cant really say that I noticed a difference. Maybe a slightly quicker throttle response and less drag when the HVAC was running. But that is debatable and may have been butt dyno/placebo.

No, no, no. The bigger the better, probably 4 or 2.

No clue how much, but 5 feet will not be enough. I'd start with 10 feet.

in my opinion, after have putting grounding kits in my last two cars, i never felt a noticeable different in anything electronically and performance. People get grounding kits when they are running a sound system set up and that could benefit them by not killing their alternator and other power doodads. Otherwise if you're looking for hp gains, turn back.

^Agreed, and if you are running a system a big 3 upgrade is all you really need.
