grounding kit
i dunno if this has been discussed, i don't think so. i've never seen it. but does anyone have any experience with a grounding kit? i would like to buy one. i have some engine noise coming thru the speakers, and also when i push on the brakes i hear a very faint static noise. i am going to buy new spark plug wires as well. i was thinking about http://www.sunautomobile.com/h...o.htmfor a grounding kit to buy. its a little pricey. more than i figured. anyone know of any cheaper that would still work? i would like to solve this problem. its driving me insane.

You can just buy some wire to do that yourself with. it's like 1.50 a foot or something.

I've heard good things about that hyper ground system. XS Engineering has them, and so far they have added 2-5HP/TQ on every car they've tried it on. The phase2 crew was talking about it when I was getting my wiring done, and they seemed to like it a lot, so Wayne said he was going to start carrying it because of what people have said about it.
I don't know if it has any impact on your speakers though.

Ben, on this site you will find what is called a ground loop isolater, it will fix the whinning noise in the audio system ! do you have a after market speaker amp or head unit ??
and you can make a grounding kit for like under 20$ using 2or4 gauge wire and some solid connectors
