Does anyone have an after pic of the grounding kit for the VQ35HR? THe only pics I can find are the ones with single intake, and I have the duals. The kits look very different from mine and I am wondering if I installed mine correctly. Directions only came with a before pic. And it keeps talking of moving nearby grounds, just want to make sure I moved the right ones before firing up....

Hey Goatboy, where did you get your grounding kit from? Does the distributor/seller have any info? I'm considering this for my car and I have the same model as you.... curious... keep us posted and let us know if it improves performance. Hopefully someone will chime in soon that has experience.

Welcome to Nicoclub by the way!

Well after 2 hours last night I finally got it installed. Turns out, someone borrowed my 10mm socket AND wrench, and the one I found in my spare box I broke it...a few notes to you guys thinking of doing this mod.

First when pulling the glove box out, be very gentle and you must pull straight back, the directions state this, but it gets hung up. Do not try to wiggle it out, as I did, and cracked one of the plastic clips. The 7 screws hold it in and it doesn't have any play, but if I ever have to go back in there, I only have one clip left. Second, when doing the weather stripping above the battery, you have to be VERY carefull. I thought I was being carefull but I accidently lifted it too far and some of the adhesive came off.

Well I definitely noticed a difference. Shifts are much faster, throttle has WAY more response, and I didn't notice that big of a difference in the start up. It seemed a little quicker but maybe because I was expecting it to be quicker? I didn't time it, haha. The first time I started it the rev's did drop faster while it was idling, and they kinda bounced up and down for a few seconds. But it hasn't done that since. And the yellow triangle with the exclamation was on until I shifted out of park, it also has not come back on since.

I am very happy with it. Well worth I think. Is it true fuel economy improves as well? A friend of mine told me this, not sure. A note on that, he is also the friend who ordered me the intakes I have on my car while I was out of town. I have to pay extra to get the new tubes. He knew which ones to get, just didn't get them. Ah well. If anyone wants more pics just let me know, I took these with my phone again, fiance has the digital camera.

Exhaust is next, sway bars, and then tint just in time for summer....

I don't know why it won't post the pics horizontally. Wierd. Tried flipping them at photobucket, they went horizontal on MySpace, don't know what's going on...Sorry
