alright this post is for those of you who have added extra grounding wires for your engine. I've seen many G35/350Z guys using the extra grounds, I was wondering if any of you with 240's have done this mod yet. If so, where are your recommended grounding points? The G35 guys are putting several to the head, one to the transmission, one to intake, and several others in miscellaneous spots. I've also seen in many numerous magazines, that they put some on the alternator and different places for different motors. I'm looking to make one myself, out of 8 or 4 gauge wire, but would like to hear about where you guys have added the extra grounds and if it has made a noticiable difference.

i made my own kit once with points on the valve cover, transmission, alternator, intake manifold, and distributor. in about a week the starter was noticeably weeker, and soon after that i needed a new one.not necessarily related, but an interesting coincidence nonetheless.

i took the kit off after that

in theroy(engineer looking at a peice of paper or in a book) that system works.

In the real world it looks really cool(b***hen, bad, far out, its the sh*t, shizzle dizzle, pimp, and not to leave out rice, and any other term reffering to the physical appeal of it.

It suppose to keep out interferance and supply a more stable ground. weather there is any REAL proof of it is unlikely.
