grounding a rb20det

I'm in the process of repainting the engine bay of a s13 with the rb20det in the bay. Do you think I need to sand the ground points in the engine bay after painting it? Or do you think that it'll still provide a good enough ground through the paint to the chasis?

i say grind some off. for the best ground you can get.

you cant ground through paint. it has to be metal to metal.

Grind to bare metal, bolt down the ground and paint over it again for a nice appearance.
