I just got the *Stillen suppliment kit from Sentientbydesign and it looks great!, very well put together, but he has a 6mt and couldn't find anyone with a 5at to help him out with his r&d. Just need to know where the ground goes for the transmission. Anyone have a pic or a good description for it? I know where I can mount it to the the rest of the ground system, and I could just pick a hole but I'm picky about my holes. I Know not all holes are built alike, there has to be one that is used for 'just the right reason'. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance .

I don't have my instructions with me (not at home) so I'll try the best I can. The transmission wire bolts on the back of the plenum. Then feed it straight down to the ground. Jack up the car and get underneath and you'll find another wire or something down there...it'll be close to where the wire is. If not, find an optional good ground (remember that from the instructions if you can't get it there or can't find it). Unbolt that wire and put the transmission wire there and rebolt. Make sure the wire doesn't touch any hot or moving parts.

I mounted mine to the passenger side of the transmission. There was a mounting point there where other wires are currently mounted already.

Thats what the groundinggear instructions said, thats where I put it.

Thanks guys . I crawled under that damn car again and ended up mounting the wire on the p/s (thanks Tollbooth) of the transmission just above where the main wire harness plugs in, sound bout right? There was a threaded hole there.......so I used it! I didn't see anything else but a bracket for mounting the wire harness connected to the transmission and a single wire harness going to the starter, but then again I don't exactly fit under the car so well and I didn't spend much time hangin out under there.

Thanks again fer yer help and I am sure I will be buggin everybody again for help in the future.

Great work guys!!

Cheapazz, if you'd like to return the favor, take some pics or do a small write up on the wire install for the 5AT.

I'll hook you up with a custom title for a decent write up with pics

How bout a change.........do a quick video of the Stillen install points and the add-on kit by sentientbydesign. Then a couple of pics of the ECU and transmission. (who wants to see a fat guy try to wriggle under a G?) HAHAHA might be a good youtube show. I can keep it to just a couple of minutes so no one falls asleep.

I'm sorry bro. I didn't realize you still needed that picture.

Here it is thanks to Noah...

There is a threaded hole which accepts a m6 hex bolt.

Also, let me know if you notice any difference (you should lol).

Like I told the Altima guys, I'm not trying to sell snake oil here. If your add-on kit doesn't make any noticeable gains, then it's back to the drawing board to figure out why.

Btw, did you get your ECU wire in ok?

ECU was the easiest to get in. I think the changes are showing up now. I don't drive that far around town with it so it takes a bit for the subtle changes to take effect.
