Ground wire gauge?

I need to make a ground wire for my maf, but what gauge wire should I use?

nah, 4 is too thick and a waste of money. I just used 8 gauge is about the same gauge all those other companies are releasing their grounding kits with so that's what I went with.

hey what parts do you ground? i got myself some grounding wire and i only see the ground from the intake manifold and i also see the ground that goes from the alternator, and i think connects to the left side of the car on the chassis. does the alternator ground just run straight there cause it joins the big tubing and then comes out near the top of the engine, so it would be kinda hard to pull out. (i wanna just cut it and put a new ground wire thats shorter there)
