So i was installing my gc's on my kyb agx's, the fronts went on fine but when it came to the rears, the gc perch would not fit over the kyb rear shocks. I dont know if they sent the wrong ones or what. I couldnt even grind the top of the strut to get it over. There has to be an error with either the wrong shock or ground control perch.

Can someone that has done this before tell me if they had any problems?

Some pix's please, I don't have GC's but I used to have some crap bought off of ebay and I had the same problem. For me, it was the front struts, the sleeve won't fit on the strut, what I had to do was use a air hammer to knock off the cover on top of the strut. Now I have Tein Type Flex and I'm so happy. Anyway, let me see some close up pictures of the KYB Struts, especially in the area you're talking about and maybe we can give you some advice.

When I had the KYB AGXs with the Tokico springs the rear ones went on fine, but then the front ones were too big for the spring perch... so I went ahead and got the Eibach Sportlines, and the problem was solved...

I found out they sent me the wrong rear ground controls.. The springs fit fine, but the perch had the wrong adaptor ring inside. It was too big so it wouldnt go over the rear shock. Ground Control is sending me the correct perches. Thx guys.

BTW the instructions for gc's with agx's requires you to cut off the perch on the front agx's and on the rear perches you have to just knock off the perch with a hammer. It wasnt that hard to cut off the front perches, just used a grinder to weaken the metal and then just banged it off with a hammer.

can the gc be lowered all the way, or close enough on the agx so that there is no wheel gap??

Dunno really, havent tried it yet... lol. I still have the rear springs on for the moment. When I am able to get everything on, I'll drop it and take some pics. But the ground controls are suppose to be able to drop up to 2".
