Gross Noise

My CA S13 has had no problems for the last few months, then out of no where i started it up one morning to this odd sound from under the hood. The sound is slightly evident under idle, and gets more loud as boost comes on. It's some sort of grind/shreak sound. I'm checking the turbo today for shaft play, but if anyone else has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated!Thx

Maybe it is coming from one of your belts?

grind/shriek like metal scraping metal? that increasing during boost? definitely check your turbo, but I had one that made that noise from the turbine side.

Did a small animal crawl into your engine bay and get chopped up by the belts?
