hey guys! i just finished the break-in period on my new gripforce stage 2 clutch. it doesnt seem too different from stock. also it slipped really bad up until about 490 miles. then i adjusted the pedal linkage (against my better judgement but i was getting frustrated) and it seemed to grip okay. now at about 680 miles, im beggining to beat on it a little bit but when i dump it into 4th gear (and sometimes third) it slips and i can smell the clutch burning. i also had the master cylinder changed with the clutch because it was leaking a little bit. i also had a fidanza flywheel installed (i dont know if that has anything to do with it). also, i did not do the labor myself because of lack of space and time. instead my local mechanic did it. what do you guys think?

I first started to say flywheel but you got a brand new one...Is it a true fidanza? On my RPS turbo clutch I couldn't wait. Drove it for 100miles before I started to have fun.Held just fine.Thik it slipped once but because it was hot.

Well that depends...Never heard of gripforce being a good company.Secondly I purchased a fidanza and a Compotition 6puck clutch sprung. The clutch that I purchased almost took 800miles to break in properlly, works good and skirts in third gear sometimes.I would wait just a little bit longer before getting your hopes up.......Did you replace the entire clutch assembly?????

i just realized something today. there is some liquid under my car in the driveway. could any of this have something to do with a leaky master cylinder or hydrolic line? i guess ill take a look at it and see if that really is what it is.
