For those looking for a quality axle-back exhaust. Gripmotorsports is having an overstock sale on the Tanabe Medallion. They're offering it for $487.95 + $49.95 shipping = $537.90. Cheap!!!! I bought mine 2 1/2 months ago when it was still $579.

Here's pics of when I got it:

Eh, 50 bux is 50 bux. How are you still liking yours man?

I think this is exactly what I am looking for too. I dont want to be heared a mile away, I dont want fart cans or chaisaws on roids, just a nice hint of a bassy idle and a little growl with the hammer down.

Too bad Im broke damn it :)

I bought it at $579. W/Shipping it totaled to $628.95. So anyone interested would be saving $91, not bad. But yeah, I'm glad I put down the $ to buy it. I think it's gotten a little quieter after breaking it in. Basically sounds like stock in the cabin, under hard acceleration or w/the windows down, u can hear the low tone. But most peeps here are looking for SOUND! hehe. In that case, avoid Tanabe at all costs.

a local shop near me and mmx23z can make any car sound good. they work on everything from POS commuter cars to Ferraris and Lamborghinis. with tons of experience and its unbelievable how much cheaper it is. like the Borla exhaust, they can build you the same one for like $300 or $400 (and you get to choose the tips) or they can build the Artison exhaust system, etc. sooooooooo many people pass up local shops and over pay like crazy. not even just exhaust but other stuff too.
