allright, unfortunatly my wife let her sister barrow our 04 Titan. She apparently didnt realize it was in 4WD the whole time she had it and she was rompin around on highways and in tight parkinglots.

It is reccomended no to go over 60mph in 4WD witch im sure she did somwere between 75-85 on the highway.

So yeah, now when you go to engage the 4WD it makes a terrible grinding sound witch is most likely coming from the transfer case.

Anyone know what causes the grinding?? any idea on how to fix it??

it would be nice to have 4wd back

Well I bough the truck used and thankfully purchased the full warentee on it so hopefully this will get takin care of.

Gotta take it to the local nissan dealer to have um look at it.
