Grinding sound when accelerating

Lately I've been getting a grinding noise from transmission when I am accelerating. There is no grind when I actually shift, so I wouldnt think it is the syncros. It happens when I am in gear and give it some gas. First, second, and third are where I have the issue. Fourth and fifth drive fine. Clutch going bad? Gears maybe shot? Any ideas would be great.

Fluid "flush", or just a fluid change.
I believe I've read somewhere that a flush wil eventually toast a transmission.

No I haven't. I'll buy some redline mt-90 and see if it does anything.

No, if it is slipping, it will slip more with fresh fluid. But he is grinding, so that's why I recommend it

I get a grind in 2nd and 3rd when my clutch to gas pedal ratio is anything but "perfect." Pretty sure its my clutch itself as the noise only happens at engagement and shortly after.
