I have a 97 se, and while the drivetrain on the ka24de is fine, when I gas the accelerator to 3,000rpm+, there is a gridning noise from the engine during deceleration back to 3,000rpm and lower. i can't seem to figure out what the problem is, and it is persistant, while driving, and when the gearbox is in neutral. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

My car makes that noise while decelerating... did you change your clutch/flywheel recently?

clutch and flywheel are all stock. When i keep the rpms around 3,000 the sound is persistant, and it's also present when decelerating, too.
