1994 Altima 5 speed manual.Had the radiator and belts replaced then wanted to drive car home after hours, when depressing the clutch pedall all the way there is a starter-like noise while engine is running and headlights dim, I can change gears, less the grinding noise, with the pedal half way depressed - when fully depressed the noise kicks in and disapears once the pedal is released - could it be some miswiring of the starter/clutch pedal interlock switch form when they replaced the belts?Thank you!

Sounds like a throw out bearing or pilot bearing problem. The electrical problem sounds like a weak alternator at idle or poor grounding/corrosion. the belts may not be tight enough and slipping ever so slight, that can causing dimming of lights. Check belts first since they are the easiest. Sounds like you have two seperate problems.
