grinding noise in stock turbo??(help please)!

ok i got that engine alredy swapped in may car.It was sounding ok +/- 2 .now it sounds like something is grinding i still get all the boost i should have 10psibut i wonder if i can think about rebuildin it or if i can run a gt28 (s14)with evrything stock exept for intake and exhaust ??

any idea?? cuz i dont knowmy engine is a red-top sr20det from a 93

if your turbo is shot you can use any sr turbo and it will be a direct bolt on that is including everything. water and oil lines, intake, exhaust and manifold no worries..if you use a s15 t28 keep in mind that NISSAN went with 480cc injectors instead of the s13/s14 sr's 370s

if you are hearing grinding sounds take off the inlet pipe on the turbo and see if your fins are messed up. The coil in the factory rubber suction pipe was being pulled down and hitting the fins. I get a hard pipe made.
