So i get an 06 Spec V and all is well until a few months after i make this wonderful purchase, 1st and 2nd gears grind when the engine is just started. almost as if they are catching ie. synchro so i take it to Nissan and they tell me basically im full of shiot nothing is wrong . im not talking just start the engine and go im talking start and wait for about 2-3 mins before i start moving. my question is do any of you out there have this problem . i have a buddy who works for nissan and he states nissan has a problem with the syncro . but it should have been fixed by the 06 model. oh and im also talking under normal driving conditions. so Nissan said i need to grind the hell out of it on purpose so they can fix it under warranty but being that is a sealed transmission they cant touch it . of course when i make it to nissan my transmission is warmed up

does anyone have this problem

I've heard of this before. You pretty much just have to wait til the transmission is dead, then have Nissan replace it. This is the first time I've heard of an '06 with the issue.

i have the same problem, but its only 1-2 shift when i first start up. maybe there's not enough fluid circulating, im pretty sure if i let it warm up before driving it it wouldn't happen.

Yeah, I meant cold as in haven't been driving, not weather, sorry for the confusion.
