grinding at 3500rpm

When i hit around 3500 rpm, or around that are it sounds as if theres 2 metals grinding against each other. I can hear the noise if im in park or drive. At first i thought it might be my bearings but then it wouldnt happen at only around 3500rpm.

The noise started out as a whistle but now its turned into a grinding.
