Grinding 2nd Gear

So i searched and found many different answers, nothing definate.

Due to recent events with my camaro im forced to get a new car, ive always wanted a 240 and nows my chance to jump on one. Ive got one lined up thats good on everything except one issue. It grinds second gear. It shifts fine into every other gear just has a grinding noise when going from 1-2. Now the guy i might be buying it from said he had it at a shop here locally, Zfever. They do pretty good work from what i hear. He says that Zfever told him that the hydraulic system needed to be bled and the issue would go away, however in my search im finding alot of different answers, im going to call and talk to zfever and see what they say but i dont want to buy a car with issues. Im not familiar with transmissions on this car so im not sure if thats a common problem/fix or if a syncro going bad is more common or the actual culprit.

Its a SR swapped car with the respective 5 speed transmission with a stage 3 clutch.

yep ya sycro has gone, and will need second gear replacement too, maybe a new 1st to 2nd shift fork,
