My friend tells me he's seen a J30 cruising around with an aftermarket grill - wondering if anyone knows where I can pick one up? I've never seen one myself, but he's always talking about it.

I have the Tan color exterior, and all the emblems/grill are gold from the factory (and faded). Priced the OEM grill with emblem - runs about $250 shipped.

Looking for other options. However it's tough because its a gold grill OEM, what to replace with...?

I need to snap some pics of my baby tonight, she's beautiful! So you guys can help me decide

I would guess the best "chance" for finding any aftermarket cosmetic parts would be auctions.yahoo.co.jp. Search for the leopard or the other JDM model names for the J30.

Why they called the J30 in Japan the Leopard?!

Any links for more info, details about this? Must've been badass - JDM versions always have all the fun toys - we usually get the watered down version!

Thanks for the info Rex, you seem to know your stuff when it comes to Infiniti!

The "J" in Japan was known as the Nissan Leopard J Ferie, Run a search on this site, there are some links and pics. I've never heard of any custom grilles for a J, but from time to time there are front aero scoop only available on the Japanese Yahoo auction site available. This part was on the Japanese "J'. It is my understanding that they are expensive to bring to the U.S., especially when you factor in overseas shipping and custom charges.

Ya, it looks like some sort of chrome kit to me.

Look at the spacing around the emblem between those two grills - totally different, so I don't think it's something they bought...

I think I need to start up a shop, and make two items: a J30 exhuast that bolts right up (headers-back) and a nice looking chrome grill!!!

Just my two cents.

Well...? Get on it, Im in need of both of those parts.

I guess I will try to go to autozone or something and see if they have a kit like this.

Let me know if you give it a shot Dominick with the Autozone kit - interested in how it turns out! If your going to sell your OEM grill, after making the new one - let me know I'm looking for one!

try to find a place that does laser cutting on stainless.places that make those metal flames, stuff like that.i bet they could help design too.theres a place around southcenter in seattle but forgot the name.just a thought.lol.another way probly ask a high end stereo shop who does there laser metal work.they probly got more options.not just flat metal.
