So How do you guys put grille clips on the 97 Altima grille I put them in right but it won't click when I put the grille in place on the car. Tried to make the clip go in further but to no avail used alot of force but doesn't work. How do you guys do it?

sure they're not broken? you put the clips into the grille first, then it snaps in very easily.the first few times you take the clips out will have you cursing. a long fairly skinny slot screwdriver works best. you are 'turning' the clip about 30 degrees, and it should come free with gentle pull. have to do same at each clip in turn.

Lots of swearing usually works to get them back into the grille. It's all about twisting the head so the arms pop back into the slots.
