Grill corrosion

My I30 is experiencing corrosion stains where the grill meets the hood. This is apparently a common problem, or at least common enough that there is a TSB on it. Since the problem clearly began while the car was under warranty, is there any chance I could get it covered?

Usually you need to be able to prove that the problem existed prior to the warranty expiring. Since there was a TSB for it, you might get lucky, though.
