Grill and Tails

So i blacked out my grille the other day, and fixed up my tail lights... just thought i would post some pics... the grille was a disaster at first... i had it good through the black coat, but it was too humid, and the clearcoat made it look primered... so i put some more black paint on it, and have yet to clear coat it, i will once it isn't humid, and ill see how the paint holds up on the drive to and from Philly from Bmore tomorrow... whatcha think?

prefer the chrome personally, but am glad you like it. Lot's of effort it would appear and definitely worth the time if you have the look you want!

thansk guys... but yeah im really working on the blacked out look... what i wanna do are window visors, black out headlights as per tutorial on the main page, and get rims and tires, probably at the end of summer... then ill be good... for some reason i just really like the look of a nicely blacked out car. btw... tinting the 3rd brake light is a P.I.T.A.!!

but do you think i'll need a clearcoat? do you think it will make it much more shiney? cause as of now its a flat black, and i would like it to blend into the car's paint

Not bad at all!I see yur point with the all black look,looks pretty nice,BUT only if you do it right.

And about the braking light,i would go with the clear coat....

well i didnt paint the lights, i used tint, so i dont think clear coat would work. =p ill probably just do the grill once we get a break in the damn humidity!\

Ohhh lol. nvm then...

im thinkin about usin tint for my back lights..but im not sure how long itll last sooo..still deciding on it

yeah, it tore a little around the edges of the actual tails so i think im just going to invest in overlays... which kinda sucks cause that tint took a LOT of time. but the 3rd brake light looks good, gonna have to take it off and stretch the tint a little more, work out all the creases... i will give you a word of advice, if you go with tint, make sure its STATIC CLING tint, it works MUCH better
