You might want to get a backup grill from a boneyard or someone selling parts.

That way you can have a back up in case you don't like it.

if you get the 95 grille you can get one from a white car - the sides will be white not chrome to match your paint, or from a black car so it's all black...personally

well whaddya know? it looks like it might not be a direct swap with the 95. look at the pic closely - with a 95 grille you might have a gap because it looks shorter than yours...but you can always go to a junkyard and check it out to be sure.

then again the 95 has a bar that runs across the top so maybe it'll fit after all. best way is to check at a junkyard.

btw...did i mention that the 95 grille looks better? personally

Actually, it will not fit. The 97-99 grill is taller. Brad, just stick to what you are doing, bro. Post up the pics since you painted. I think you should paint the emblem red, leaving the 'NISSAN' black.

you made a whole thread about painting the emblem?i mean theres only like 2 others colors that would maybe look ok, black or white.normally i would keep it as is. and the grille looks kinda fadey, at least in the first pic...

Both of you cool it.

Brad, it looks great man, the red would really look good with the graphics.

By the way, G4Nismo is only offering up his suggestions, no need to get all fringed up about it. If you don't like his opinion, disregard it.

G4Nismo, don't be a troll. If you believe that Brads thread's will only be ragged on, don't reply, or be the better man and stick up for him.

id leave the emblem it looks good being the lone silver part in your grille i think red would be a bit much. let the graphics be the graphics.

at your and G4's argument...funny to read.

but seriously about painting the emblem - painting chrome involves more work unless you sand it off down to the plastic. the grille looks very nice man, good job. if i were you i'd just get rid off the emblem - they just let people know who made the car and as soon as you start customising the ride...it's not theirs, it yours. make yourself a custom logo out of resin - very simple.

that could actually look really good. i didnt agree with it when i read it but went and looked at the pics again and if it was just a black space it would look kind of cool and then bring attention to your headlights.
