I was going to ask you this earlier but the particular thread I got this from was closed.
So there is no stand alone "S" sound in Korean? Does this also hold the same for words or names that end in M or other sounds? as I was reading your example I was thinking of a couple of friends of mines . I have a friend named Terrence and always noticed his mom pronounced his name Terrencesuh and also I ask about the M because same goes for a friend of mine named Adam I always heard his mom say Adameh. Is this the same thing or just with plurals?
Reason I ask is because I always thought them adding the sounds at the end was an (my apoligies in advance if ths is a crappy explination) Honorific kind of how in japanese they add -san, chan, o, (and others I cant think of right now) to the end of names when addressing someone. If you can answer this thanx.
