found someone who is selling their dupree's are they any good? just like this but in silver (minus the black paint) http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/f ... oated.html

want to know if they are better than megan racing and is it just as good as SZ downpipes or somewhere between SZ and Megan.

Trying to do the following set up 2.5 downpipes to 2.5 test pipes and 2.5 hks cat back (due to me getting it at a very good price)

They seem me like an old school version of the SZ downpipes idk maybe someone with more years in the z game can chime in thanks need your opinions. looking around nico and tt.net for some downpipes and test pipes

Do you have pics of the ones for sale? Those are the Supersplits, which are better than the Y splits.

Greg Dupree IS SpecialtyZ, and to an extent, the LaBree downpipes were the same for a period of time.

And yes, they are better than Megan

Probably one of the best DP on the market for the z32.

When your talking about 2.5" exhaust then yes the 2.5" SZ DP's are def one of the best if they are the slightly more expensive SS option.

Are the above pictured aluminized or SS with a coating??

Had them on my VG,

Only swapped them out before installing because I came across a sick deal on used SZ 3" expansions.

The Supersplits are excellent downpipes. I wouldn't hesitate in getting them. The only DP better than those are the SpecialtyZ 3" Expansions.

I like the design of my Random Technologies 3" downpipes better. the exhaust turbine outlet and wastegate outlet aren't split - no need to worry about compressor surge with full breather mods. Other than that, SZ hands-down.

Recognize the picture. I sold the ones in the picture back in Sept, 2011. They were 5-bolt. The downpipes came off my car when I went to 3". Know whether you need 4 or 5-bolt DP's. You can't go wrong with them. Trying to sell the 2.5" test pipes and SS Borla catback.

Then you are the person that sold them to the guy who is selling them now (believe his name is Randy). Yea he just told me they were 5 bolt right now as i post this message :tisk: ....dang it.... he was selling them to me at a good price too!...... (he is selling them due to him going bigger on the exhaust 3'', he is from CO)

I'm looking for 4 bolt 2.5 down pipes. my goal for the Z is nothing crazy at first just trying to max out the potential of the stock turbos then down the line eventually upgrade them.

my objective is to put quality stuff into my Z i got the $$ for some new downpipes from (SZ) but I'm trying to avoid that and just been trying to locate someone selling some good downpipes that are used. (shoot i already bought a used clutch kit with only 3,000 miles on it from a guy on TT.net and the clutch kit is RPS street max and let me tell you that clutch and pressure plate is almost new still got the blue paint intact all over and the clutch itself barely looks even used) so like i said is anybody selling some good downpipes they don't need?? Remember i need 4 bolt!!! :yesnod

O the test pipes you have what brand?? Cause im shooting for a full 2.5 exhaust with either HKS or SZ catback...(im leaning towards HKS cause i located one for a very good price). I know some maybe against buying used but i don't buy used unless its in very good condition. I used the money i saved from buying used towards other mods for the car.

So far my check list

RPS street max clutch--check
Used new engine harness with only 3,000 miles on it---check (got this and the RPS clutch in a package deal from the same seller)
new 120k timing belt kit with upgraded nismo thermostat and valve cover gasket and everything else (seals) from nissan themselves-check
New set of 5zigen FN01R-C --check
2 Bride seats in black -check
Downpipes---searching....
Test pipes---searching...
Catback-----found one new in the box for cheaper than buying it new just looking around to see if anybody has a SZ one
Coilovers---Powertrix (this one i most likely going to buy new since i have yet to see someone selling their coilover kit lol im shooting for the ultra light ones i think new they are like $1500 plus gotta get the camber kit  )
Still got some stuff i haven't listed but basically making this car new again lol

The name does not ring a bell, but I did sell them to someone in CO.

Sold the 4-bolts SZ DP's I had. Do have a set of extrude honed stock exhaust manifolds (Stillen) for sale, $100 + shipping.

The test pipes are regular steel SZ, about 5 years old. Also, the SS Borla I purchased new in 1996 when it was a true 2.5" exhaust system. Setup has a nice tone, is noticeable when on it, but quiet enough (can hold a conversation w/someone while cursing). I am willing to let all go for $450 + shipping. Let me know.

If you have a 2.5" catback that you want to stick with, I would save up and get these...
https://specialtyz.com/shop/sz-3-4-bolt-down-pipes.html
https://specialtyz.com/shop/sz-3-test-pipes-105.html
Should give ya over 30 rwhp

Also, if money is an issue, just go with SZ 2.5" catback. The 3" only adds 10 rwhp at higher RPMS. I still perfer the 3" but that is me...
