Hey, I've been using the site for some tips and whatnot for the past couple of months and thought it's time to say hello. =]

I've recently(3 months ago) bought a 1991 240sx Hatch, and from the apparent look, it was perfect.

Drive it home, inspected the car nice and carefully aaaaaand..-Rocker Panel Rust (Surprise surprise? ;P) -Hatch rusted to s***s.-3 inch puddle of water in the spare tire hole.None of this really mattered to me since its my project car so.. anywho here's a couple of pics of what I've don so far. -Sorry for links, I'm kinda retarded in the ways of forums and not knowing how to post pics. When I bought it--http://i42.tinypic.com/1pcfnc.jpg

After I took off the spoiler/bondo'd/Primer--http://i42.tinypic.com/ev2ctj.jpghttp:/ ... nowwhg.jpg

After the spray bombing, I also installed new brakes all round, kept stock calipers and painted them aswell. Put JIC Magics in the front, this friday the backs will be in.--http://i41.tinypic.com/11b7p1z.jpghttp: ... j9vp81.jpg

Car was extremely dusty and dirty from the construction going on around. The hood I messed up badly while painting it, so I'll have to redo it.

I'm 17 and this is my first car. Workin hard on making a dream come true. I've done all the work myself and so far, I'm enjoying every minute of it.

I'll post more pics of the car slammed this friday night! Thanks.

That hatch is going to need some more work. Half a** job dude, btw, try masking tape while painting.

It's only temporary. Was sick of looking at the primer, and for 40 bucks it was better than looking at a s***ty multicolored primered car.

Thanks for being a d!ck.I redid the hatch. As for the Tailight housing I'm refinishing it cause it's incredibly scratched from when i bought it.Thanks for pointing that out though.

There was a lot of surface rust forming with the orig paintjob so there were a lot of little spots that were primered. Thought doing the spraybomb for temporary would be a wise choice.Getting the paintjob done this summer. I've an agenda for everything I'm doing. After I throw my rear coilovers on. Ripping out the interior because it's completely molded out.(2 Inch puddle in spare tire + Condesation+5 months of sitting=yum)The kid who had it before didnt take care of it, but no. After the interior I'm getting it painted either raven black or a grey of some sort.

The rims are only temp too, I smashed one of mine in while drifting one night at this lot, took it a bit far. Smashed the curb.

300 bucks for rims and tires (2 month old tires+Lady driven) not bad.

Brakes are Brembo non slotted. Painted them cause they were nasty and covered with brake dust, which barely came off so it was a mix of surface rust/dust.

Anywho, I love it. I'm not ricing it out, using it as a first track car to practice in.

sem makes color matched interior paint. it looks really good. i feel you on the wheels. ive got ghey cheap wheels too becaues the tires were good and they clear my z brakes. i guess the thing that looks rice is painting the dust shields red. thats like painting drum brakes or something

Yeah I was going to just chop those but I left my grinder in my shop class. They'll be off sooner or later.I'm so excited because I get my coilovers this friday. Here's a better view of the car after I washed it, aswell with the stock rotors, calips, and w/o Front Coilovers. :P
