Welcome to NICO "Packrat182" ,
I too am a member on
http://www.nissanexa.com, but i haven't done much posting in years on that forum. I don't quite own a pulsar, but I do own a B12 sentra which shares nearly the same chasis with the pulsar, if that helps a bit. It's good that your knowledge of the DE is sufficient because the same techniques can be applied to the DET as well.
I also started out with an AWD CA18DET w/TMIC and let me just tell you that thing is worhtless. If your engine set does not come with a harness and ecu, then you have several options. You can either have your DET computer done by Jim wolf technology, you can use and S13 CA18DET sylvia/180sx/200sx harness and ecu (if you know what you're doing), or you can simply go standalone engine management which is by far the most flexible and trouble-free way, but to some that maybe argumentative.
You can use your KN13 mounts, but you will eat them up like you would do ice cream as they are not strong enough to constantly support the added torque. You can use your stock CA18DE transmission and axles as well as your flywheel, but you will have to upgrade the clutch system. It is very imporant that you put the necessary gauges on the vehicle to monitor critical engine component functions such as boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, and even a fuel pressure gauge.
You will definitely need to upgrade your fuel pump. A walbro unit for an S13 chasis will do just fine. As for any upgrades, there's tons of information here on this forum, so you search til your heart's content. The biggest thing on this forum as opposed to most is that whatever you're looking for or need to know, has more than likely been covered. So again, welcome to NICO and hopefully we can help you get to where you want to be.
