Greetings to the board,

My name is Alex and I'm the owner of a quite extensively modified '99 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR. I recently re-acquired my old car which I had sold off for three years (driving around in a '99 Maserati 3200 GT instead), after having initially purchased it back in January of 2006. It was the fourth R34 GTR to be imported to Sweden and I bought it from the UK.

Since selling the Maserati, however, I've come to realize that I've been bitten by the turbocharged V8 bug, and then arrived at the conclusion that it would make a neat project to put a Nissan V8 into my R34 GTR and turbocharge it. I searched for information and posted a thread on the UK-based GTROC - which lead some chaps there to recommend me signing up here.

If and when I realize this project the aim would be to create a driveable and durable street car with about 600 BHP, with the main points being to use a twin-turbocharged Nissan V8 while keeping the manual transmission and 4WD. I'll be sure to post up a thread in the relevant forum asking for advice and tips.

If anyone's interested in pictures and information about the car, the picture in my signature is clickable. The link contains quite a few pictures as well as additional information, most of it in English.

You all have a good one!

Welcome, Alecci. Very nice looking GTR you got there. Some videos, if any, of it being driven would be sweet.

Cheers for the compliment, mate! There's a few video clips of it here, though none from outside while driving it on the road I'm afraid.

I hate to break it to you, brother, but word on the street has it that she's spoken for. Next time I run into her I'll tell her you said hi.
