Hello All. Just got a new 2011 Hatchback 1.8S Arctic Blue. First Nissan I've owned and love it so far. Bought it based on good reviews, good mileage and good price. So far have not been disappointed. Mods so far only the Weathertech wind deflectors and seat covers. I do want to get fog lights and have been studying the posts here with interest. I have the power package and therefore have the wiring for the fogs, I think. I found the pig tails below each headlight which I presume are for the fogs. The OEMs are a bit pricey so I thought I would get these:

and get a new light stalk with the fog light switch. Saves me having to trim a hole in the existing covers and I don't have to run any wiring plus I'm a few bucks ahead of the OEM lights. I do have a couple of questions:

1. Has anyone used this kit and are the lights ok and do the covers fit ok?
2. I want to leave the switch/fogs on so I can use the fogs as running lights without having to switch them on each time I start the car. Does the new stalk/light switch allow that or does is reset each time I turn the car off and then do I have to switch the fogs on again when I restart the car? If not, I may look at wiring the fogs to a switched location.
