I think it should be green when you turn the ignition on, meaning "Push here to Start", and then after the car starts, it should turn red, meaning "Push here to turn off the motor". Or maybe after you put the car in "Park".beeristasty wrote:i like it. green is for go
I have had a number of people emailing me regarding the led swap guys im going to tell you this is not an easy task the gauge cluster alone takes a good whole day of work, working on brians gauge cluster last weekend and still haven't finished there is about 50 individual surface mounted leds on it that's not including the orange that you have to get rid of. in our car the surface mounted leds vary in size from 1mm these are in the hvac and some other spots up to 3mm some of these are in the gauge cluster.08coupedaddy wrote:how did you change the color that surrounds your gauges to blue? that looks sick as hell dude

Still green! Keep the colors of the road the same... You stop at red lights and go at green lights. Plus you burn fuel when the engine is running, and fuel costs money - which is commonly recognized as being green (in the US).LinkNuc wrote:Not always true, think of a pump indication: Red means Run or energized, green means stopped or de-energized....for a valve red means open, green means closed....how ya like them apples, green or red?
