green goo

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Well, I have my dark currant/chestnut dream car - I love it!I have a question ...My EX has only 300 miles on it, I notice a green liquid on the garage floor each morning as I pull out ( on the left side, near front of car)- is this just an overflow of coolant? Should I be concerned?

Water will drain from the AC condenser when the car sits for a while. If what you find under your car doesn't look like water I would take it in and have it checked out. The radiator catch tank is sealed and under normal conditions you won't have any overflow escaping the tank.

Welcome to the Nico forums.

Green is probably radiator fluid (coolant). If it doesn't stop real soon, I'd give your dealer a call. In fact, just for peace of mind, I'd call the service department where you bought your EX. Infiniti has an excellent warranty, and if they do work on your car, you get a new loaner.

The coolant leak was do to a defective clamp. All is well now.
