I went to Canada two years and noticed a few cars with green drl and thought it was a modding fad over there, then last year I saw a whole lot of cars with it and thought this might be some Canadian regulation. Now I'm seeing this making its way over here and now I have to ask why. Is there something special that green drl do because this is a stupid and ugly look I'm my opinion?

Probably a fad...just like the underglow neon kits we saw on cars after the original fast and furious came out lol.

I rang a mate who lives in Canada and he told me that there are lots of peeps installing or tinting their DRLs green. According to him, white is the mandatory color for DRL in Canada, green is specifically reserved for certain types of emergency vehicles and these peeps are risking a citation.

But TDot say it's factory installed? Weird.

Now it's not a straight tree leaf green, it's very light. I'm going to try and take a couple pics and see what my camera does to make sure I'm not going color blind. If I am going color blind I then have to figure out why I'm still seeing plenty of white drl smh.

So it turns out it is all me my brain, my eyes, and (sun) lighting at the time. I took a couple pics of the green drl I was seeing and the thing was white as ever. What the hell?!? I noticed most of the drl I was seeing at the time was green. Later that day they were all white. Then next day I saw no green drl. I'm getting annoyed now. What's going on? Even today I'm seeing no green drl. Am I slowly going colorblind? Is it an inconsistent short in my eyes and brain lol? Started googling hard and turns out based on some lighting conditions, especially from the sun, the brain may process a color a little differently. So no Mars isn't attacking...I saw a frisbee flying through the sky lol.

I've personally noticed, that if you're wearing a brown tinted lens in your sunglasses, LED's seem to take on a greenish tint. Maybe that could be it?
