i live in san francisco, CA so there are stop signs every single block and my blocks are very small. i find myself throwing into neutral very quickly at times and it seems the dec. air settings doesnt help me as much as i'd like it too. so my question is if i softened the BOV to open up to basically any vaccuum would this cure my dying out problem since its recirculated? most of the time its ok but going from 3rd to neutral very quickly almost has no chance of staying. do you guys think that would help or is the only solution giving it a little gas to keep it up

i get annoyed when i hear SR's and such BOV's go off every single gear switch and its not as sleeperish but if it can help my problem im willing to sacrafice.

If your BOV is recirculated, this shouldn't be a problem. However, if it's recirculated too close to the MAF and/or at an angle that disrupts airflow behind the MAF too much, it can cause incorrect MAF readings when the BOV is open.

how far and what angle should the recirculation tube be. mine bovs on my cold pipe so it must go accross the fan shroud and it meets after the maf at about a right angle. 90degrees. but i have the same problem of stalling if im high in the rpms then put it into nuetral or disengage the clutch.

yeah after i had a new 3 inch intake made for my T04E, my car seems to stall everytime too when though its routed back. the only thing saving me is the decel air, but the part throttle response on the the car is killing me.
