After just recently fixing my lag problem I noticed that my car isn't holding much boost. It will run to 10psi around 3300rpms then fall off to roughly 7psi after 5000rpms to redline. I just recently retested my pipes for boost leaks and found that my Type S is leaking like a mofo, it doesn't leak at idle or anything just under pressure. I would really hate to recirculate it because the inner ricer in me lovers the sound of it, and I don't have stalling problems at all. Is there another remedy to my problem besides an axe or even the chainsaw.

if you recirculate it, it will still have that high pitch sound. also are you using both springs inside that bov?

i should add that all bov's uses boost assist on the top of the diaphram or the piston to push down on the poppet valve or piston to keep it sealed. since your running a pressure tester, did you make sure the car is at WOT so there is boost pressure going into your intake manifold? this way the boost pressure from the intake manifold will assist in keeping the valve shut under pressure.

I removed one of the springs from my bov, and I did not test it at WOT, is that necessary that I do test it at WOT.

well thats your problem then. put both springs in there. its not necessary to run the test at wot, but its a good idea to compare the psi you get at the boost gauge ( manifold psi ) to what the compressor is showing.

So you are using an SAFC II to "correct" for the open atmosphere BOV? Hmm, well here's my advice:

Deal with the boost leak for now and enjoy your ricey side. Once the giddyness fades and you want actual performance re-circ it. I ran around with it "corrected" on an SAFC II and when I went re-circ it was a huge gain. You will love it, screw the sound, real performance is better than any sound you could hope for.
